How Much

Shane has paid for the cabin, just need to get reimbursed for your families cost. Let me know if you have questions about that.

Since our plans changed a bit, it caused me to rethink a few things and we changed up the plan to charge “per person” instead of “per family”.

Feel free to pay me when you arrive or you can Venmo me @ShaneTucker (please just make sure I don’t get a fee for this).

Here is the balance per family:

$1655

$1324

$993

$662 For lodging

$165 for Pirates Show

$827 Total

$1655

Where do I sleep

I don’t care who sleeps where, this was just an attempt to make sure there is a space and privacy available for all.  There are a few beds, couches and futons available in common areas.

Room “assignments” in red.

What do I bring

The cabin comes with Wi-Fi, a “fully stocked kitchen”, hot tub, grill, firepit, washer/dryer. Bring your own toiletries, soap, detergent, snacks, favorite board game, swim suit, etc… but I think the cabin has all the standard items.  There are also plenty of grocery stores.

For more details on what is available at the cabin download this book.

I also think it would be fun if anyone has photo albums around that we could all laugh at.

A Few Things To Think About

Breakfast

I was thinking that it might be nice to pass around breakfast responsibilities. On one day one family cooks breakfast and cleans up for everyone else. Of course, if you want to switch up dates, or not do this at all, it’s all good. And we’re always good to just do cereal and fruit or whatever.

This may not even be an option once everyone starts coming and going but we can figure it out when we arrive…

If everyone is into this, we’ll figure out something awesome.

What Are We Going To Do

The Shane & Ellen family may want to see Pirates Voyage dinner show. It is pricy ($70/adult, $35/kid). Our rental company for the cabin offers discount tickets but I have to tell them how many before we can see how much they cost.

In case anyone else is interested, here are a few other things our family hopes to do too (if dad is not too cheap):

I also heard others might be interested in:

  • White Water Rafting
  • Hiking
  • Tour Downtown Sevierville to see th edolly statues and tributes
  • Dollywood
  • Light hiking into the great smoky mountains
  • Laurel falls for a beautiful waterfall
  • Mountain coaster
  • Forbidden Caverns
  • Reinforce adventure discovery zoo
  • Smokies stadium for a minor league baseball game
  • Deer farm and exotic petting zoo
  • Drive to Ashville to tour the Biltmore
